1. Pick new eggs free from cracks.
2. Commercial egg producers cover their eggs having an oil to greatly help seal them. Rinse the eggs in a mild soap to remove the oil and to allow the color adhere more easily to the eggs.
3. Boil the eggs to the difficult steam phase.
4. To one cup of heated water, add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar, and the required food coloring or dye. Be sure to obtain enough food coloring in the water to create a darker shade to it than the ideal shade for the eggs. (Our twelve color gel collection works well.)
5. Drop the eggs in the colored solution before desired color is reached. For darker shades, leave the eggs remain in the color for as much as two hours.
6. If the eggs should be consumed, keep them refrigerated.
Bakers note: If you should be going to use blown eggs for Easter (those with the egg blown out via a hole in the end of the layer), color the eggs before blowing. If the egg is blown by you from the shell before dying, the bare, delicate covers is going to be difficult to throw and handle in the water.

Do you need to avoid that green layer on the yolks of your hardboiled eggs? You may do so if you time your cooking carefully. Its a matter of heat. Always use an egg timer.
Heres how:
1. Use only clear, fresh eggs. Discard eggs that are cracked.
2. Lay the eggs in much pot, one layer deep.
3. Cover them with cold water merely to protect the eggs.
4. Bring the water in the container to an immediate boil.
5. Take away the pan from heat, cover it with a lid, and allow the eggs remain in the warm water for 14 minutes.
6. Eliminate the eggs from the pot and put them in ice water until they are great enough to deal with.
Refrigerate any unused eggs.
